Industry fit
Each tool is scored against real workflows, customer expectations, required approvals, data sensitivity, and how often the business repeats the task.
Every week, hundreds of new AI tools show up. Most business owners do not need more noise. They need a clear shortlist built around their industry, workflow, compliance risk, customer journey, and budget.
ChatGPT and Claude are useful foundations. The money is in the industry-specific stack: the tools that receive files, answer calls, update customers, route leads, summarize work, and reduce expensive human drag.
Each tool is scored against real workflows, customer expectations, required approvals, data sensitivity, and how often the business repeats the task.
We separate broad productivity tools from tools that solve specific problems like intake, estimates, document review, dispatch, reminders, CRM cleanup, or follow-up.
The goal is not a giant directory. The goal is a usable shortlist: five to twelve tools per industry, plus what to ignore first.
These are the first landing pages to build. Each page should rank for "AI tools for [industry]" and move the best-fit visitor toward an audit, install, or partner recommendation.
Every industry page should eventually have this same useful structure: problem, workflow, tool type, best-fit buyer, caution, and next step.
| Tool Type | Best For | Use With Caution When |
|---|---|---|
| Voice agent | Missed calls, FAQs, appointment requests, intake routing, after-hours capture. | The caller needs urgent human judgment or regulated advice. |
| Document AI | PDFs, contracts, forms, transcripts, intake packets, case notes, claims, estimates. | Output cannot be reviewed by a trained human before it is used. |
| CRM and follow-up automation | Lead response, no-show recovery, reminders, quote follow-up, review requests. | The CRM is messy enough that automation would amplify bad data. |
